Private application screening
Hosting and staff applications are for adults aged 18 or older. Enter your own accurate information. A birth date declaration is not independent age verification.
What is saved
Your declared age at submission, birth month and year, email, VRChat display name and supplied profile, Discord identity, application answers, screening consent version and timestamp, and review decision. Your complete birth date is checked and discarded. Existing sign-in protections also retain a keyed network identifier for hosting-owner sign-in.
Who reviews it
Authorized Hinder’s reviewers review hosting applications. A staff application is available to the selected group owner through private sign-in. Reviewers check the supplied VRChat profile, Discord membership, references you provide and relevant experience. Email verification confirms control of that email, not a legal identity.
What screening does
We do not use your email to discover private home addresses, phone numbers, hidden identities or unrelated accounts. Your birth information and email are not sent into the VRChat world or public photo feeds. Applying does not grant a role; group-owner approval is required.
Producer & recording rules
These production rules apply to Producers and all staff, including Super Admins and group owners, when organizing, capturing, broadcasting, editing or publishing video or audio:
- All production participants must be 18 or older. Do not involve minors or help anyone evade the age restriction.
- No NSFW content, SPS or nudity.
- No content related to children.
- No offensive or controversial content.
- No illegal content or any other content prohibited by the venue, group or VRChat rules.
Tell performers and guests when recording or broadcasting is taking place and obtain the required permissions. If prohibited content enters a recording or live feed, stop or mute the affected capture or broadcast and exclude that content before publishing a saved recording.
Patron guidance & staff moderation
Hinder’s Nightclub is for adults aged 18 or older. Patrons are asked to keep their avatars, voice, performances and shared media free of the content listed above and to cooperate with staff. This guidance is also intended for world rules posters.
Patron behavior is handled through staff moderation. For ongoing offensive or disruptive behavior, staff give a series of clear warnings. If the behavior continues, staff may use the venue’s jail controls.
Do not misrepresent your age, harass others, disclose another person’s private information or access credentials, or knowingly make false factual allegations. Cooperate with legitimate moderation and report safety concerns.
You remain free to give truthful reviews, express opinions, make lawful reports, and disclose information to authorities or advisers where legally permitted. This notice is not a promise to conceal misconduct.
Your choices
You can decline screening by not submitting an application. Contact HinderMeNot privately through the official Discord to request a correction or removal. Hosting and staff applications expire 24 hours after submission. Scheduled cleanup removes applications, linked interview information, approval records and queued application messages from the active database. Read the current Privacy notice for the full retention details and the Terms and rules before applying. Hinder’s Lounge hiring requires an owner-scheduled group interview. Private Discord staff access and Hinder’s Staff VRChat invitations are reserved for hired applicants.
Recording and livestream disclosure — staff and all visitors
A Producer may create live or recorded content using Hinder’s automatic animated stage cameras, manual camcorders and the Producer’s PC/OBS output. Staff must announce who is operating production, the areas and voices being captured, and where any livestream will appear before starting. Tell new arrivals while production is active. Obtain performers’ consent before filming; stage sign-in alone does not authorize publishing their performance.
If you object, tell staff before entering the announced capture area. Staff and Producers must avoid capturing you, offer an area outside that capture or stop production when they cannot respect your choice. Do not film private conversations, personal information or anyone who has declined. Accepting the entry notice acknowledges these venue rules; it does not waive privacy rights or replace consent required by applicable law.
Suggested announcement: “Production is active in [area]. [Producer] is operating automatic stage cameras and manual camcorders. Avatars and [which audio] may be recorded or livestreamed to [destination]. Tell staff if you do not want to be captured.” See the VRChat Creator Guidelines.
